With the right guidance you’ll be able to see consistent, exponential growth as not only a drummer, but an industry professional. From the basics of solid technique, to working out pieces for professional groups your working in, we’ll work together to grow as better players. Private lessons will focus on technique and understanding the language of drumming. We’ll dive into reading, charting, playing to records, transcribing, research and analysis, groove playing, soloing, and more. There are a ton of details to dive into pertaining to all of those topics. We’ll take our time and make sure you have a solid understanding of what you’re doing and how it relates to other instruments musically. We’ll then be able to listen to a piece of music and get creative with writing drum parts for whatever you’re working on.
Group Classes
Join the beat with our fun group classes! Perfect for friends or fellow drummers, these sessions foster teamwork and creativity. Youʼll learn new rhythms, share tips, and enjoy playing together. Each class is designed to boost your skills while having a blast. Group lessons are offered periodically throughout the year, usually every quarter. For students looking to specifically learn to play the drum set, private lessons are the way to go!
Online Lessons
Learn drums from the comfort of your home with our online lessons! Perfect for busy schedules or those outside San Diego. Enjoy flexible, personalized sessions that fit your level and goals. With clear guidance and fun exercises, you’ll improve your skills in no time. Online lessons can be taught via zoom, skype, or discord.
